How to get to us
By Sea
Scillonian III
The passenger ferry operates between Penzance and St Mary's. The trip takes approx 2 hrs 40 minutes.
Transport of camping luggage
The Steamship Company dockers arrive from 7.30 a.m: drive onto the quay at Penzance (well signposted) and you will be told where to take your luggage for loading into the appropriate off-island container. Make sure all your packages are labelled for St Martins.
Camping Trailers
These need to be booked onto the Scillonian. At St Mary's, they are transferred to the inter-island freight launch, "Lyonesse Lady". We will meet the boat and tow your trailer to the campsite. Please note that there may be a couple of hours delay in the arrival of your trailer at the campsite because of tides and boat schedules.

St Mary's to St Martin's
St Martin's Boat Services "Voyager" leaves St Mary's quay after the Scillonian docks at approximately 12.30. and again at 3.30. Luggage on the Scillonian is transferred directly onto the "Voyager". Air passengers will need to carry their own bags onto the "Voyager".
The "Lightning" can be chartered for "specials". Please contact Terry Perkins (01720 422814) for details.
St Martin's Quay to campsite
There are two quays on St Martin's; the campsite is much closer to Lowertown Quay (at St Martin's on the Isle Hotel) which is only some 400m along the road and an easy 5 minute walk. Highertown Quay is rather more distant at about 1500m with a fairly steep hill as soon as you leave the quay. The view from the top of the hill is, however, spectacular!
Ben will meet you upon arrival at the quay - he's the one with a huge smile and a large blue tractor towing what looks like a giraffe cage. After you have loaded your luggage he will transport it all to the campsite. No room for passengers (mostly), so the final leg of your journey will be on foot. The campsite is well signposted on the south side of the road.
